Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs are simple to make and freeze well. Any bread can be used, and there is no need to cut off the crusts. I think homemade has more flavour and a better texture. You can process them in the food processor once baked to the size that you require in your dishes. Change the taste and make a spicy breadcrumb mix or Italian herb mix.
Ingredients:

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160° Fan / 350°F / Gas Mark 4.
Lightly grease or line several baking sheets.
Grind down bread in the food processor.
Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Stir and bake until lightly toasted and dry.
Completely cool down on the baking sheet before storing in an airtight container.
Additional Notes:
Prefer spicy or herby breadcrumbs? Add spices or herbs to the mix once baked. Homemade breadcrumbs are perfect because you can make them just how you like them.
Have you made too many? Simply place them in the freezer to use at a later date.
