Honey Garlic Roasted Carrots
Honey Garlic Roasted Carrots is a wonderful alternative way to cook carrots for the family. Give it a try soon.
Ingredients:
2 lb carrots (peeled)
1 tbsp parsley, fresh (roughly chopped)
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp dairy free butter (melted)
1/2 tsp whole grain mustard
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic clove (chopped finely)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp sea Salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Method:
Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180° Fan / 400°F / Gas Mark 6
In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients except carrots.
Place carrots on a baking dish or baking sheet and toss carrots until coated completely.
Bake for 30 minutes, until browned and tender. Stir after 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Additional Notes:
Make this dish your own by adding spices or different herbs to the dish.
Add your favourite vegetables to roast or use up what’s up in the refrigerator!
