Hydrate
It’s so important for us all to stay hydrated and drinking water should be part of our daily routine. I am a total coffee addict and for me a glass of water is not the first thing I turn to. I always have bottles of water in the fridge for the whole family. This is filtered water from the tap and not storebought water. Every morning I place into my glass some vegetables or fruit or herbs and spices and fill it with water and I keep topping this up throughout the day.
Ingredients:
Water
Plain or mixed. What do you prefer?
Infused Water Ideas:
Citrus fruit
Lemon and Ginger
Watermelon and Mint
Pineapple and Citrus
Cucumber and Mint
Strawberries and Basil
Berries
Pomegranate
Cucumber and Lime
Method:
Place your favourite ingredients into a jug or glass. Cover with water and chill in refrigerator.
It is best to leave this to infuse overnight but I normally decide on the morning what I want in my water and start drinking this at lunch time for the following 24 hours.
Additional Notes:
The flavours are up to you. Experiment with what you have in you fridge or freezer.
