Berry Smoothie
Berry Smoothie is full of goodness. I often will make it if I require a lunch on the run.
Ingredients:
1/2 avocado
1 cup of blackberries and blueberries
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 lime
1 cup of dairy-free milk
Ice cubes
Method:
Rinse all the ingredients.
De-pit the avocado and transfer the half that is required into the blender with the blackberries and blueberries.
Add the juice of a lime, chia seeds and a cup of dairy-free milk with some ice cubes.
Mix till you reach the consistency that you like. It should be smooth and creamy.
Additional Notes:
I find this sweet enough as it is but if you require it to be sweeter than add a bit of honey.
I chop my fruit and vegetables in advance and freeze them. I can then add them straight from the freezer in the morning which makes it very quick. Simply add the dairy-free milk from the refrigerator and the chia seeds from the store cupboard.
Not a fan of dairy-free milk, try coconut water.
