Hot Chocolate
Hot Chocolate is wonderful and warming. Give this recipe a try and if you enjoy it then make a double batch. Kept in the fridge, it will last a couple of days and you can then enjoy it hot or cold!
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of icing sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups of mini chocolate chips
4 cups of rice milk (or dairy-free milk of your choice)
Optional: Marshmallows for topping.
Method:
Sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl and mix in the chocolate chips
Heat the milk in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer
Whisk in the hot chocolate mix until it is melted and combined
Remove from the heat and serve.
Additional Notes:
If you do keep this in the refrigerator, then give it a stir before serving.
Make up the hot chocolate mix (minus the rice milk) and keep it ready for when you want hot chocolate. You can spoon into a hot much of dairy-free milk the ingredients so it becomes as chocolatey as you like!
